Franz Fischnaller (FF) is a scholar, polymath, and practitioner (author, artist, designer, project manager), whose work spans the field of arts, design, technology, science, ecology, digital humanities, and cultural heritage.

A practitioner who performs different roles across multiple fields of expertise, with a broad knowledge and experience, and creation, design, development, and production.

A lifelong learner involved in an ongoing process of creation, exploration, experimentation, discovery, and problem solving. Continuously striving to innovate, renew, and refine his artistic expression and skills across various disciplines, bringing them into a relationship.

His methodology embraces a permeable interdisciplinary intuitive multi-layer knowledge creation and an unconventional cross-fertilization and interconnection, through different art forms, disciplines, and shared practices.

FF was the founder of F.A.B.R.I.CATORS Milano/Italy -Creation of ideas-Architects of Culture- (1996-2017), an interdisciplinary group concerned with the integration of Art + Design + Technology + Communication, Specialized in electronic media, virtual reality, interactive media, multimedia, networking, robotics, audiovisual, and integrated media. The company has operated in the fields of Art, design, architecture, edu-entertainment, interactive entertainment, leisure, spectacle, fashion, marketing, and industry. FF has worked as a chief designer and Project Manager.

Since 1996, FF has served as an expert for the European Commission Research Executive Agency, Brussels, (B) in the field of cultural-heritage, humanities, and technology.
